Assistant Brandy Mattix called David Beardwood about his recent experience with Sherman & Associates. Below is a transcript of the call.
Brandy: When did you & Jay do business together?
David: First funded a loan in November of 2011, the property was in Vista CA.
Brandy: What would you consider to be Jay's strengths, assets, or things you like about him?
David: He is patient in explaining things, flexible and not afraid to do a little research on new ideas.
Brandy: Would you please clarify what Jay was responsible for & what he did with you?
David: He borrowed money from me for a project and paid interest and also kept me up to date with a video update once a week.
Brandy: On a scale of excellent, good, fair, or poor, how would you rate Jay's overall performance?
David: Excellent.
Brandy: Why?
David: Beause he did everything he said he was going to do and (is) a cheerful and likable person and did everything he said he was going to do and I felt comfortable loaning him a large sum of money.
Brandy: Tell me a little bit about Jay's communication skills. Did he answer your voicemails on time? b) Do you feel like he listened to you?
David:a)Yes, he was prompt in answering emails and phone calls. B) Yes he did listen and we didn’t have any misunderstandings or any bad communications.
Brandy: Did any obstacles get in the way during your business dealings with Jay? How did Jay handle that?
David: He had some problems with the planning department that prolonged the project longer than he thought but we had already provided in our agreement what we would do if that happened so from my persepctive it didn’t do anything. He handled that very well.
Brandy: Thank you. Do you have any final comments or suggestions about Jay?
David: Good person to do business with and I look forward to doing more business and I will give him preference over others.
Brandy: Thank you so much for your insights, David, I appreciate your time.
