Peter Reference Call

Assistant Brandy Mattix called Peter about his recent investment with Sherman & Associates. Below is a transcript of the call.
 
Brandy: When and where did you & Jay do business together?

Peter: I met Jay through the North San Diego Real Estate Investors club. I invested in a first trust deed on one of Jay's properties.

Brandy: What would you consider to be Jay's strengths, assets, or things you like about him?

Peter: Jay is straightforward and very helpful to new investors. I was particularly impressed with Jay's website and his commitment to ongoing learning in the real estate investing field.

Brandy: Would you please clarify what Jay was responsible for & what he did with you?

Peter: Jay provided the opportunity for me to invest in one of his properties at an attrative rate of return. He was also very forthcoming with advice about investing in real estate.

Brandy: On a scale of excellent, good, fair, or poor, how would you rate Jay's overall performance?

Peter: Excellent.

Brandy: Why?

Peter: For the reasons stated above and also for the quick reply to any of my questions and his consistent communication.

Brandy: a) Tell me a little bit about Jay's communication skills. Did he answer your voicemails on time?
b) Do you feel like he listened to you?

Peter: He was always very responsive to any email communication - Jay has strong listening skills.

Brandy: Did any obstacles get in the way during your business dealings with Jay? How did Jay handle that?

Peter: No, Jay did exactly what he said he would do.

Brandy: Thank you. Do you have any final comments or suggestions about Jay?

Peter: If Jay offered a seminar or workshop for new investors in the San Diego area, I would sign-up immediately.

Brandy: Thank you so much for your insight, Peter. I appreciate your time!
