Assistant Brandy Mattix called John Pica about his recent investment with Sherman & Associates. Below is a transcript of the call.
Brandy: When and Where did you & Jay do business together?
John: Never met anywhere always on the phone, When – met through the North San Diego investors club 2 or 3 years ago.
Brandy: What would you consider to be Jay's strengths, assets, or things you like about him?
John: Strengths – I like that he’s approachable, straight talk(er), sincere fellow
Brandy: Would you please clarify what Jay was responsible for & what he did with you?
John: He helped put together private lenders on a real estate transaction we were working on.
Brandy: On a scale of excellent, good, fair, or poor, how would you rate Jay's overall performance?
John: Excellent.
Brandy: Why?
John: During our several issues that arose thru our business transaction he was easy to communicate with and professional on how we went about resolving the issues we had to deal with in a timely manner.
Brandy: a) Tell me a little bit about Jay's communication skills. Did he answer your voicemails on time? b) do you feel like he listened to you?
John: a) returned all e-mails and voicemails in a timely manner.
b) Absolutely, we had to listen to each other to resolve the issues we were dealing with.
Brandy: Did any obstacles get in the way during your transaction? How did Jay handle that?
John: Yes, several obstacles arose and we did deal with them. I thought Jay did an excellent job on how we responded and brainstormed on a way to handle the situation for all parties concerned, in fair manner.
Brandy: Thank you. Do you have any final comments or suggestions about Jay?
John: I found Jay to be helpful in areas I didn’t know and working with him was really a pleasant experience (for) everybody involved – he was considerate, to not only representing his side but to make sure everybody was treated fairly and made a good business transaction. I would like to ad that I look forward to working with him in the future on other projects.
