Assistant Brandy Mattix called Linda about his recent experience with Sherman & Associates. Below is a transcript of the call.
Brandy: When did you & Jay do business together?
Linda: We have been on a non-profit board together for 4 or5 years so, I’ve had the opportunity to observe his work ethic and attention to detail. But we first partnered together about 9 months ago.
Brandy: Would you please explain what Jay was responsible for and what he did with you on the project?
Linda: Jay was responsible for finding the property, rehabbing, and then selling it.
Brandy: What would you consider to be Jay's strengths, assets, or things you like about him?
Linda: His strengths are his attention to detail, integrity, communication skills and the value he places on his relationships.
Brandy: On a scale of excellent, good, fair, or poor, how would you rate Jay's overall performance?
Linda: Excellent.
Brandy: a) Tell me a little bit about Jay’s communication skills. Did he answer your voicemails on time?
Linda: He always answered voicemails on time.
Brandy: b) Do you feel like he listened to you?
Linda: Yes.
Brandy: Did any obstacles get in the way during your business dealings with Jay? If so, how did Jay handle that?
Linda: There are always surprises in any project, but they were handled promptly, efficiently and with appropriate resolution.
Brandy: Would you do business with jay in the future?
Linda: Yes, definitely.
Brandy: Thank you. Do you have any final comments or suggestions about Jay?
Linda: I think Jay does an excellent job of communicating; his videos and ongoing updates are excellent and his desire and willingness to be sure there are no unresolved or unanswered questions. Jay is a good roll model and example of how to manage a project and work with your business partners.
