Assistant Brandy Mattix called Tim and Tina about their recent investment with Sherman & Associates. Below is a transcript of the call.
Brandy: When and Where did you & Jay do business together?
Tim and Tina: We met with Jay in early November, 2013. We secured a 1st deed of trust with him against a property located in Fallbrook, CA.
Brandy: What would you consider to be Jay's strengths, assets, or things you like about him?
Tim and Tina: Jay is honest and straight forward. He is great at communication. Every week he would update us with a video of the El Monte property, all the way to the end of the contract. He has a very friendly, calm demeanor. He does what he says he will.
Brandy: Would you please clarify what Jay was responsible for & what he did with you?
Tim and Tina: We signed a promissory note with Jay for him to borrow money against the El Monte property. He included us on a Short Form Deed of Trust against the Fallbrook property.
Brandy: On a scale of excellent, good, fair, or poor, how would you rate Jay's overall performance?
Tim and Tina: Excellent.
Brandy: Why?
Tim and Tina: Jay is a straight forward person that is honest, fair, and a great person to do business with.
Brandy: a) Tell me a little bit about Jay's communication skills. Did he answer your voicemails on time? b) do you feel like he listened to you?
Tim and Tina: a) Jay acted in a very timely manner. He made sure that we felt that none of our questions were "Stupid questions."
b) He pro-actively updated us all the time.
Brandy: Did any obstacles get in the way during your transaction? How did Jay handle that?
Tim and Tina: No. We never incurred any obstacles with Jay.
Brandy: Thank you. Do you have any final comments or suggestions about Jay?
Tim and Tina: I wish every business venture would go as smoothly as when we are doing business with Jay. He walks the talk.
Brandy: Thank you so much for your insights, Tim and Tina, I appreciate your time!
